Sam Lang

Sam Lang

Member Education Consultant

With his father serving in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) for almost 40 years, Sam has always been surrounded by ADF personnel, and is passionate about helping them and their families understand their super options. Sam’s career started in the invalidity and member accounts sections for the military schemes. He was then promoted to our Customer Information Centre where he helped ADF members directly with their superannuation needs. Since 2011 he’s presented military super seminars and run one-on-one consultations around the country.

Matt Floros

Matt began his career at ComSuper (now Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation, CSC) in our Customer Information Centre in 2011. Originally he provided general advice on PSSap and shortly after he started to provide general advice for MilitarySuper and DFRDB members. Now he presents superannuation seminars and offers personal consultations at Australian Defence Force bases around Australia, predominately focusing on QLD and NT. In 2015, Matt relocated from Canberra to Brisbane to further expand the military education services that are provided by CSC. Matt is RG146 compliant and is pursuing his passion for financial literacy by studying a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.

Paul Cross

Paul is an ex-Australian Defence Force (ADF) member. After starting out as a rifleman in 2000, he transferred to the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Corps to become an aircraft technician. Paul undertook a variety of roles whilst in the ADF and a number of postings, most notably to the School of Languages in 2010 to study Malaysian.

Prior to discharging from the ADF, Paul started a secondment to the ADF Financial Services Consumer Centre where he developed his passion for financial literacy. Paul joined the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation in early 2014 as a member education consultant and thoroughly enjoys working with ADF members to help them better understand their superannuation. Paul is RG 146 compliant.

Since joining ComSuper's (now Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation) Customer Information Centre in early 2015, Ed has placed a high importance on providing complete and genuine customer service to all of our members. Ed not only provided information on MilitarySuper and DFRDB to past and serving ADF personnel, but also to members of the PSS and CSS schemes. He has recently taken the step of joining the Member Education team and offers personal consultations to Australian Defence Force members and presents superannuation seminars to Commonwealth public servants around the country.

Zach Smith

Zach joined ComSuper (now Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation) in early 2013 and has experience in business areas such as PSSap and Member Benefits. Zach has a great passion for customer service and meeting the needs and requirements of our members. Joining the Member Education team in early February 2017, Zach brings his knowledge and experience to the role while conducting member consultations and presentations for the Australian Defence Force. Zach currently specialises in MSBS and DFRDB and is RG146 compliant.

Rhonda Evans

Rhonda Evans

Education Administrative Assistant

Rhonda supports the Member Education team to deliver seminars to members around the country. She has worked for more than 20 years as a personal assistant for various legal firms in Canberra. Rhonda held the position of Personal Assistant to the Manager, Corporate Services with the Australian Medical Association and then as Office Manager with a company which was contracted by Civil Aviation Safety Authority to manage pilot examinations. Rhonda's most recent role was with a research centre where she was Personal Assistant to the CEO for six years.
